	Thank you for coming to our casting call for the girl's clothing catalog, we had an excellent turn out for this event, so many picture perfect little girls for the client to review.  We appreciate all the parents who braved an especially foul weather day too!   Your Photos are located here   So What Now? We wait!  Your photos are posted and available to the client to review immediately. Most clients usually make preliminary selections from photographs like these and contact Talent Source with their choices. At this point there are two things that can happen; Option One: A larger than needed group is selected so the client can have you come in and meet you in person, this is known as a "Go See". After reviewing you in person they may either select you on the spot or wait until everyone has been seen, make decisions and then let us know, we in turn call you with the news that you have been selected.  Option Two:  The client looks at the original photos and information and simply make all of their choices, they call Talent Source and we will call you. In either case you may be asked to come in for a second or third time (this is usually a paid appearance, but not always) for a wardrobe fitting, although for children's clothing it generally doesn't happen.   What if they didn't pick me? I tell all clients that you should leave every modeling or acting audition knowing that you did your best and be happy that you had the opportunity to be seen. Then forget about it! If you are called it will be a pleasant surprise and you can plan accordingly, but please do not expect us to call those who were not selected, if you think that would be difficult for you, think about what it would be like to call 90% of the group back with such unforunate news. Therefore we only call if you were selected.  Please don't call us and ask, if you were picked we love nothing more than calling you ASAP to share the good news. Please keep in mind that more people are not selected than are selected, it's always best to make the Casting Call and/or the Audition the most important part of the event, always do your best because this part of the process is where you have complete control. Why were you not selected?  There may be many reasons that are beyond your control, there may have a certain look that is desired and you weren't born that way and there is nothing that you could have done any better to make it happen (i.e. They wanted a model to look like she was the child of an Actress/Model who had already been selected to be the mother, so they'll go with the child that most looks like her). What if they did pick me? You will be called and we will share all the important information with you concerning what you must do as your next step.  We will give you instructions that will help you, please listen and follow them to the letter, it will make this experience much more enjoyable for you and your Mom (or you and your Daughter). The Last Word Lastly, this is how a legitimate Casting Call works, unlike the many rip offs and scams that prey upon your desire to be discovered.  Most often held at hotels ( who obviously don't care that they are being used to defraud people) they will all advertise on radio making outlandish claims and claiming credits that are not true. If you show up, there is often a presentation from "someone famous in the industry", except for one thing, you've never heard of them.  How famous can they be?  They will be very persuasive, they have had the practice doing this little dog and pony show from city to city, so don't be impressed. They are either selling really bad photography, some kind of classes or a trip to a convention (and some conventions are legit, most are not, ask me if you want to call). Don't be separated from your money, legit agencies don't travel around doing bogus calls, we're too bust REALLY working in the industry to do those things. The people who want money today should be avoided, others who give you time to decide should be checked out before you do anything, don't be fooled!
